Liana with glabrous stems. Fleshy coriaceous glabrous leaves to 160mm x 85mm. Lateral racemes with minute bracteoles to 2mm long, 8 glabrous involucral bracts to 10mm x 2mm, yellow flowers, rays florets lacking, 15-23 disc florets with yellow glabrous corolla 9mm long, tube 4mm long, throat 3mm long, lobes 1.8mm x 0.7mm. Immature achenes to 1mm with 9mm bristles.
