Large woody glabrous liana with glabrescent lenticellate stems. 3 toothed or serrated glabrous leaflets to 143mm x 95mm, leaves bearded beneath in axils of nerves. Cauliflorous 5mm white flowers in axillary puberulent fascicles or racemes, puberulent sepals to 2mm, white or cream petals to 5mm long. 3-angled sparsely or densely pubescent to 25mm long x 10mm red capsule
