Glabrous liana with 3-wionged lenticellate branches. Imparipinnate leaves with serrate-dentate leaflets to 200mm long. Panicles with bracts to 6mm long, 7mm long white flowers in thyrses 300mm long, tomentulose sepals to 5mm long, petals to 7mm long. Velvety orange-red fruit 30mm long
