Minutely puberulous liana with 4-5 ribbed branches. 5-foliolate leaves with leaflets to 100mm x 50mm, glabrous above & puberulent beneath. Pulverulent panicles of scented white flowers in thyrse 200mm long, puberulent sepals 4mm long. 3-winged pulverulent red fruit capsule 28mm x 18mm.
