Glabrous liana to 15 with tendrils. 5-foliolate coriaceous leaves, serrate terminal leaflet to 150mm x 70mm. Tomentulose 160mm long axillary thyrses or panicles of 5mm long cream flowers, green calyx, tomentulose sepals, white petals 5mm x 2mm. Red-purple 30mm x 15mm pyriform capsule.
