Scandent glabrous high-climber with glabrescent grooved stems with small lenticels. Palmate mostly glabrous leaves with 3 toothed or serrated leaflets to 182mm x 65mm. Axillary inflorescences (thyrses) or racemes to 35mm long of 5mm white flowers, glabrous sepals to 2.1mm, white petals to 3mm long. 3-angled 25mm x 12mm glabrescent red capsule.
