Liana or scandent woody tendril vine with 3-6 angled glabrescent lenticellate stems, pubescent or glabrous. Pinnate 5-foliolate leaves to 150mm x 150mm with winged petioles, dentate-crenate mostly glabrous leaflets to 153mm x 62mm. Axillary pubescent thyrses or racemes to 300mm long with bracts 2mm x 0.8mm of 5mm white or cream flowers, glabrescent sepals to 2.5mm long, white petals 5mm x 2mm. Red glabrous fruit 38mm x 16mm.
