Liana with glabrescent trigonal stems with lenticels & tendrils. Trifoliolate leaves with serrulate-dentate leaflets to 140mm x 75mm, glabrous above & glabrate beneath. Many-flowered axillary panicles to 250mm long, white flowers, glabrous sepals to 2.5mm, white petals to 4mm. Red glabrous fruit enclosed in calyx, 30mm x 30mm.
