High-climbing hairy liana wit 4-5 angled hirsute branches. 5-foliolate pinnate leaves, glabrous above & hirsute beneath, serrated leaflets to 200mm x 90mm with mucronulate teeth. Axillary racemes or hirsute panicles of white flowers with hooked tendrils at base, sepals 4mm long. Red fruit, capsule winged at apex 20mm x 20mm.
