Herbaceous pubescent climber with glabrous or finely puberulent stems, simple reddish-brown tendrils. Coriaceous bat-wing leaves 2-3-lobed, glabrous above & glabrous to slightly puberulent beneath. 50mm diameter yellowish or green-white to white flowers to 50mm wide with setaceous bracts, 2 ranked white corona filaments, outer filaments to 15mm long, inner ones shoter. 19mm x 16mm deep purple fruits.
