Liana to 6m, sparsely pubescent stems. Trilobed leaves to 160mm across, central lobe to 126mm x 41mm, lateral lobes to 90mm x 26mm, serrate margins. Axillary solitary yellow-green flowers with bracts 33mm x 15mm, 5 yellow-green sepals to 34mm x 20mm, ridged or folded at base aging to reddish or pink, with awn to 4.5mm, one light yellow-green petal to 34mm x 26mm, white filaments to 14mm. 3-ribbed yellow-orange fruit to 90mm x 35mm
