Hispid climbing vine. 3-lobed leaves to 115mm x 130mm with a tendril. Inflorescence with bracts to 15mm x 10mm, flowers to 55mm diameter, whitish sepals to 20mm x 12mm, petals to 10mm x 8mm, 60-65 white coronal filaments to 13mm long with 4-5 violet or purplish bands.
