Tendril liana with foliage glabrous above tomenous or pubescent beneath, lobed leaves to 100mm x 60mm. Axillary many-flowered pubescent cymes of pale greenish cream flowers with purple banded filaments, sepals to 13mm long, petals to 7mm long
