Herbaceous puberulent tendril vine with 5-angled grooved-striate stems often purple or red-purple. Leaves to 65mm x 95mm, variegated on veins, 2-lobed, rarely 3-lobed. Inflorescence with bracts to 2.9mm x 0.25mm, white flowers with dark centres yellow-green outer corona, sepals to 19mm x 9mm, white to pale green, filaments in 2 series, outer series to 33-34 to 10mm long, inner series green-yellow with white tips to 3.5mm long. Berry to 30mm x 18mm
