Flowering Times
Fruiting Times
Large glabrous tendril liana or evergreen slightly woody or herbaceous perennial climber or herbaceous vine with 4-angled stems. Leaves to 200mm x 150mm. Bracts to 55mm long, cymes of or solitary 175mm diameter fragrant red, purple or violet & white flowers to 120mm wide, with 5 ranked of crinkled filaments banded red-purple & white, 2 outer ranks to 60mm long, other ranks shorter. White, violet or pink sepals on inside, green outside to 40mm long, white petals with pink tinge to 45mm long. 375mm long x 150mm yellow-green to orange fruits with 3 longitudinal furrows.
