Pubescent vine to 7m. 3-lobed leaves to 90mm x 115mm with denticulate margins. Inflorescence with bracts to 3.1mm x 1.2mm, pendent purple & white flowers to 80mm diameter with sweet odour, greenish-white sepals to 35mm x 17mm, white petals to 25mm x 10mm, 55-57 coronal filaments 25mm long, white with 6-7 violet bands. Purplish hispid fruit to 70mm x 50mm.
