Tendril vine with tomentose quadrangular stems. 3-lobed serrated leaves downy on nerves beneath, lobes to 60mm long. Bracts to 30mm long, white, purple or pink flowers, calyx tube to 20mm long, sepals & petals to 40mm long, corona filaments in several series, outer ones short, other minute. Green fruit to 40mm diameter.
