Herbaceous vine, minutely puberulent throughout becoming glabrescent, striate stems. Nearly glabrous 2-3 lobed leaves to 150mm x 80mm, sometimes variegated. Pale green to greenish-yellow flowers, corona reddish or orange at base, yellow at apex, pale green or greenish-yellow sepals to 11.5mm x 4.3mm, pale green petals to 6mm x 2mm, one series of filaments to 3mm long. Purple-black fruit 15mm diameter
