High-climbing woody simple-tendril vine with velvety pubescence. Leathery tomentose leaves with velvet down beneath to 120mm across & rugose beneath. Axillary in groups to 6 x 20mm white flowers, green sepals to 6mm long. White petals to 3.5mm,yellowish filaments to 2.5mm long & 8mm diameter dark blue glabrous fruits
