Low climbing herbaceous perennial vine to 8m, sparsely pubescent stems appearing glabrous. Coriaceous leaves to 75mm x 230mm sometimes variegated along main veins. Axillary inflorescence, pale greenish-yellow flowers to 20mm diameter, pale yellow-green sepals to 10mm x 6.3mm, no petals, outer series of filaments to 6.7mm long & pale yellow with puirplish hue, inner series to 2.5mm long speckled purple. Glabrous blue-black fruit to 14mm x 13mm
