Herbaceous tendril liane with tomentellous stems. Coriaceous 3-lobed serrulate leaves to 60mm x 40mm, glabrous above & tomentose beneath. 75mm pink to red flowers with bracts 25mm long, calyx tube 40mm long tomentellous without, pink sepals & petals to 25mm long.
