Climbing herbaceous tendril vine to 3m, densely pubescent or hairy. Leaves to 165mm x 140mm. Pale greenish-yellow flowers flushed dull violet to 25mm diameter, sepals to 12mm x 3.5mm, pale greenish-yellow or whitish petals flushed violet at base to 10mm x 2.5mm, cream or pale yellow outer filaments to 4mm long, inner filaments to 1.8mm long tinged purplish. Purple-black glabrescent fruit to 15mm x 14mm.
