Herbaceous tendril vine to 10m with hispid stems becoming glabrescent. Trilobed leaves to 170mm x 170mm, hispid above & glabrous beneath. Inflorescence with bracts to 4mm x 0.35mm, 60mm wide greenish-white flowers with 45-54 white & pink speckled filaments to 26mm long, pubescent sepals to35mm x 11mm, petals to 23mm x 9mm. Purplish fruit to 185mm x 90mm with red seeds.
