Pubescent climbing tendril vine to 3.5m. 3-5 lobed leaves to 120mm x 140mmwith serrate margins. Inflorescence with bracts to 6mm x 0.5mm, sweetly scented white & purple flowers to 25mm diameter, greenish or greenish-white sepals to 16mm x 9mm, white petals to 9mm x 5mm, 40-60 coronal filaments to 12mm long, white with 3-4 purplish bands. Blue-black or purple-black fruit to 64mm x 35mm.
