Fruiting Times
Rufo-puberulent or rufo-tomentose throughout, simple tendrils. Glabrous coarsely toothed leaves to 140mm x 70mm, glabrous or sparingly pubescent above & tomentose beneath. Scarlet-red flowers with white, pink & purple filaments, crenate serrate reddish coriaceous bracts to 60mm x 35mm, calyx tube to 20mm long, sepals to 50mm long, 3 series of corona filaments, 2 outer series 10mm long, purple above, pink or white below, inner series white. Fruit round, orange or yellow mottled green to 50mm diameter.
