Glabrous herbaceous climber with tendrils. Lobed leaves to 125mm x 150mm, sometimes pubescent on mid-vein, central lobe to 85mm x 44mm, lateral lobes to 76mm x 35mm. Solitary flowers to 40mm long with 3 green bracts to 22mm x 12mm, fleshy sepals to 19mm x 8mm with awn to 2mm long, white petals 19mm x 8mm, 3-4 exterior series of filaments, wine-purple, to 12mm, internal green series to 4mm. Berry to 55mm x 40mm with many white spots
