Scandent shrub or twining rambling woody vine with hispid pubescent stems, pubescent terminal or axillary cymes to 100mm long with pale yellow flowers, corolla 60mm long, calyx 30mm long pale purplish-brown outside, calyx lobe to 2mm long, greenish-yellow inside, puberulent follicles to 250mm long x 5mm fluted longitudinally, yellowish-green, leaves glabrous above, brown-pubescent beneath or puberulent both surfaces and wrinkled margins to 100mm x 50mm
