Scandent perennial, leaves with white hairs above, sparsely hairy beneath 75mm x 33mm, axillary cymules with hairy bracts, 4-parted male flowers 2mm diameter white with greenish tip, puberulous female flowers 1mm long, brown achenes 2mm long. Annual or perennial woody herb ultimately climbing, leaves hairy above & pubescent beneath 40mm x 25mm, cymules with bracts, male flowers 2mm long white with green tips hispid on back, female flower 4-lobed 1mm long, brown achene 2mm long
