Woody climber pubescent when young with pubescent leaves to 220mm x 220mm. Axillary panicles to 350mm long, male & female flowers with white or yellow sepals 2.5mm, petals to 1mm long, glabrous white or red drupe to 11mm long with double row of spines becoming keels at both ends
