Hairy woody liane to 20m or more with leaves to 145mm x 115mm, a few hairs remaining above, densely hairy beneath. Axillary or terminal hairy panicles to 320mm long with bracts, male receptacles 8mm dia., flowers cream, male flowers 4mm wide with 5 tepals, female receptacle 2.25mm dia., with long bristles, densely bristly red drupe to 25mm long
