Glabrous or hairy twining slender malodorous shrub or herbaceous liana to 7m with glabrous leaves or tomentose beneath 190mm x 70mm. Axillary or rarely terminal cymes, panicles or racemes to 180mm with small bracteoles of lilac-purple or white to pale yellow with purplish throat flowers 20mm long, glabrate 4-5 toothed calyx to 1mm long, corolla tube 10mm long pubescent outside, 4-5 white lobes 2mm, 4-5 sepals 1mm long, toothed calyx tube to 2mm long, 4-5 petals to 3mm long, puberulent corolla tube to 12mm long. Winged brownish yellow globular berry to 12mm x 12mm crowned with persistent sepals
