Fruiting Times
Scandent shrub or tree or lofty spiny liana to 8m, stems & branches with paired stout recurved thorns to 12mm long, glabrous branches. Glabrous coriaceous leaves to 200mm x 85mm. Axillary & terminal panicled cymes or corymbs 60mm x 60mm with bracts & bracteoles, flowers with persistent bracts, white corolla to 35mm long, pubescent inside with lobes to 5mm long, sweetly fragrant, pubescent calyx & corolla, calyx to 10mm long, calyx tube with 5-7 teeth to 2mm long, glabrous corolla tube to 25mm x 2mm with 5 lobes to 12mm x 4mm. Glabrous grey-green berry to 12mm x 10mm, infructescence to 40mm long.
