Clambering shrub or liane to 15m with lenticellate stems, yellow warted branches. Glabrous leathery leaves to 123mm x 118mm. Axillary racemes of fragrant 50mm white or yellow-white flowers in pendant cymes with a bract to 7.5mm x 1.5mm, 4-lobed fleshy green to white calyx to 24mm x 12mm with lobes to 24mm x 12mm, white to cream corolla to 70mm X 4.5mm opening to 27mm at the mouth, lobes to 22mm x 20mm. Fruit a yellowish glabrous drupe to 9mm x 5mm x 4.5mm.
