Large herbaceous silky-hairy twiner or creeper with strigose stems. 5-7 foliolate leaves with mucronate strigose leaflets to 110mm x 34mm. Axillary racemes to 280mm long with bractlets to 1.5mm long & bracts to 4mm long, of reddish flowers silky on back, pilose calyx to 3mm long with teeth to 1mm long, corolla to 7mm long. Glabrous or silky pod to 40mm x 8mm.
