Fruiting Times
Woody climbing or rambling thorny much-branched shrub to 20m or tree, stem armed with strong curved thorns. Yellowish thin-coriaceous leaves glabrous above, pubescent beneath to 95mm x 35mm. Axillary racemes with bracts to 35mm and bracteoles to 2mm, small white fragrant flowers with yellow appendages, yellow calyx to 1mm x 1.5mm dia., glabrous petals appearing as 5-6 to 12mm long. Yellow drupe 25mm diameter with persistent calyx .
