Vine, herb or shrub to 2m with glabrous stems. Leaves to 350mm x 120mm. Racemes to 300mm+ long of 6+ flowers subtended by bracts to 3.5mm x 1.5mm & bractlets. 30mm long red flowers, glabrous purplish-red calyx to 4.5mm long with segments to 3mm x 0.75mm, bright red glabrous corolla to 25mm long, tube from 1.5mm diameter to 5mm, lips to 6mm long. Glabrous capsule to 30mm long.
