Liana or twining glabrate shrub with glabrous leaves to 170mm x 90mm. 70mm long yellow to orange-red flowers, red inside tube in terminal or axillary puberulent panicles, racemes or corymbs with bracts to 4mm long & many flowers, puberulent calyx lobes to 8mm long, corolla velvety outside, tube to 30mm x 3.5mm, throat to 30mm x 10mm, lobes to 18mm long. Follicles to 170mm long, warted branches.
