Liana or twining shrub with strigillose or scabrid stems. Serrulate scabrid leaves to 120mm x 45mm. Narrow thyrses with bracts, yellow flowers, flower heads to 8mm x 8mm with 35 bracts to 7mm x 1.5mm. 9 fertile ray flowers with a yellow corolla 6mm long with tube 2mm long & limb 4mm x 1.2mm, 40-445 busexual disc flowers with corolla 5.5mm long & tube 1.5mm long, lobes 1mm long. Glabrous achenes to 5mm long with a wing 0.25mm wide & pappus to 4mm long.
