Twining herb to 3m, stems with whitish tomentum, trifoliate leaves matted with grey tomentum, end leaflet 75mm long. Lateral inflorescence, solitary pale yellow fragrant flowers aging darker to 18mm, silky calyx to 12mm with bracteoles at base, rose-purple corolla to 42mm, standard 32mm across. Fruit a densely velvety pod to 127mm x 8mm
