Evergreen low shrub or slender climber to 15m. Short shoot leaves to 300mm x 50mm with tendrils somewhat longer. Coriaceous climbing stem leaves to 300mm x 100mm with longer tendrils. Lower pitchers from tendril to 250mm x 100mm with 2 fringed wings to 35mm wide. Climbing stem pitchers, hanging from tendril, to 400mm x 65mm with 2 prominent ribs. Pale green mottled purple pitchers & 15mm purple & yellow flowers, aerial pitchers green at base & purplish-red towards mouth, urn-shaped ground pitchers. Male raceme to 500mm x 5mm, tepals to 120mm long, female inflorescence shorter. Fruit to 50mm long.
