Climber, somewhat woody at base with brown silky stems. Trifoliolate leaves, upper surface silky lower surface densely grey-silky, coriaceous leaflets mucronulate to 75mm x 60mm. Axillary racemes to 225mm long with bracts to 9mm x 3.5mm & bractlets to 5mm long, white & purple flowers, brown-silky calyx to 8mm long with teeth to 16mm long, reddish-violet to violet-blue corolla with standard to 11mm long. Brown silky pod 32mm x 4mm
