Twining vine to 2.5m with hispid stems. Crenate leaves to 20mm x 5mm. Calyx tube 10mm x 7mm with triangular teeth 7mm long, dark purple corolla tube 10mm long with upper lip pinkish-violet, lower lip with bright yellow-green tip 7mm long.
