Large bifid or simple-tendril liana or creeper, dioecious, caudiciform, stems with white lenticels, trifoliolate leaves 100mm x 60mm, white or greenish flowers in panicles, male glabrous axillary panicles to 200mm long with persistent bracts, yellow flowers, calyx with 5 sepals 2.5mm long, 5 petals 3mm x 1.5mm, female multiflowered inflorescence, calyx with 5 sepals, fruit a capsule 20mm x 10mm with 3 valves
