Fruiting Times
Evergreen twining tendril vine or erect shrub with glabrous branches. Glabrous leaves to 70mm x 8mm. Terminal heads of 150mm diameter red flowers, glabrous reddish phyllaries in 4-5 series, outer ones 10mm long, mucronate inner one to 35mm x 4.5mm, 5-8 orange florets with bilabiate corolla, tube 12mm long. Glabrous achenes 5mm long with pappus to 18mm long.
