Twining evergreen woody clambering or erect shrub to 4m with villous terminal corymbs or cymes of scented 40mm long pink to red & white to yellow flowers or white with red throat & 100mm red sepals, reddish bract to 125mm long, hirsute calyx 6mm long with red lobes 12mm long, corolla reddish-hairy to 20mm diameter with bearded throat, yellow fruits 25mm long with reddish hairs crowned with calyx lobes, velvety branches, leaves 175mm x 100mm pubescent above, tomentose beneath
