Woody liana or scrambling shrub to 5m with corymbs or terminal panicles of fragrant 40mm long red or yellow flowers with orange centres becoming brown, tomentose yellow corolla limb 25mm diameter with orange or purplish hairs at throat, corolla tube diameter villous inside, glabrous outside, calyx tube 5mm long with white bract 40mm long. Green hairy or glabrous fruit 16mm long ripening orange, leaves 150mm x 60mm, glabrous or nearly so, pilose on nerves beneath
