Vigorous annual twining hairy or glabrous liana or perennial evergreen vine with axillary grey-pubescent racemes to 410mm, 45mm long purple & black flowers with 43mm keel, calyx 10mm high with yellow pubescence & reddish bristles, standard 20mm x 15mm, wings 30mm x 7mm, keels 35mm x 5mm, hairy pod to 100mm long x 16mm, irritant brown hairs, 3-foliolate leaves glabrous above villous beneath
