Herbaceous minutely pubescent caudiciform liana with leaves 175mm x 125mm glabrous or pubescent both sides, greenish-cream flowers, purple inside, axillary paniculate cymes to 150mm long with bracts to 6mm long, sepals 5mm x 3mm, 5 lobed corolla, glabrous purple lobes 12mm x 6mm green at base, widely divergent follicles 100mm x 45mm
