Fruiting Times
Erect, scandent or decumbent pubescent prickly tree or shrub to 3m with recurved prickles, hispid or puberulent branches, may be spiny or rarely unarmed. Glabrous, pubescent or puberulent bipinnate mucronate leaves strigose on both surfaces, 2 pairs of mucronate leaflets to 110mm x 65mm, glabrous above bristly beneath. Fluffy pink, deep red or white & violet flowers in terminal or axillary racemes or panicles to 20mm diameter, flowers with bracteoles, lilac filaments, glabrous corolla. Pubescent to hairy fruit to 40mm long x 10mm strigose or pubescent on margins.
