Twining subshrub to 2m with striate hispid stems. Crenate-dentate leaves to 40mm x 30mm. nearly glabrate above & hispid beneath. Corymbs 70mm x 60mm with bracts, flower heads to 10.5mm long with bracts 9mm long, phyllaries 9mm long, corolla 5.2mm long with tube 2.2mm long & teeth 3mm long. Achenes 3mm long with white pappus bristles to 6mm long.
